With grateful thanks for repairing my broken kneecap in 1955. It is still as good as it was after the operation, 70 years later. I can still walk several miles with no problem. When I was in my 30’s I was able to walk 30 miles a day without difficulty.

Missing you every minute of every day. All my love, Andy. Sue first tested positive for Covid in July, 2022. She never fully recovered and had increasing health problems over a long period. She then got Covid again in September, 2023. This time it hit her really badly and a series of ongoing problems just got worse and worse. This culminated in hospital treatment in May, 2024. She finally passed away on May 22nd, 2024. The death certificate said that the cause of death was Heart Failure.

A very gifted special needs teacher and later distinguished miniaturist and needlewoman, her greatest gifts were her intelligence and profound humanity - attributes she used freely in the service of others despite later health problems.
